WEBSITE TERMS
Clear boundaries from the beginning.
These website terms are separate from a client service agreement. A paid engagement has its own written scope, approvals, and terms.
Informational website
Public-web observations and opportunity reviews are informational, time-bound, and based on information visible when reviewed.
No guaranteed outcomes
Nothing on this site guarantees rankings, leads, calls, revenue, retention, or another business outcome.
Automated inquiry and sales answers
The General Inquiry Agent and Sales Agent provide controlled information about Hometown Demand, may guide visitors to relevant service or audit options, and may not understand every question. Their answers do not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice and do not modify a written proposal or agreement. Material scope, pricing, compatibility, and service terms must be confirmed in the applicable written agreement.
No client relationship from browsing
Visiting the site, using the instant-answer assistant, submitting an audit or enrollment request, or exchanging initial written messages does not establish a paid engagement or authorize account access or public changes.
Enrollment requests
An enrollment request records service interest, selected scope, and readiness acknowledgements. It does not charge a card, guarantee acceptance, or begin work. A paid engagement still requires the final written service agreement, verified payment, approved business facts, and required access.
Secure workspace access
Workspace access is limited to active clients and the individual teammates they authorize. Each person must use their own passwordless account and may act only within the role assigned by the workspace owner or administrator. Clients are responsible for keeping authorized-user information current, revoking access when it is no longer needed, protecting their email accounts and devices, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. They may not share sign-in links or sessions.
How a paid engagement begins
A paid engagement begins only after the parties accept a written agreement, payment is authorized, business facts are verified, and the necessary least-privilege access is approved.
Monthly renewal and easy cancellation
Core renews monthly. A client may cancel at any time before the next scheduled renewal and billing date through the cancellation control in the client workspace or by written notice to the designated Provider email. No phone call, meeting, stated reason, or minimum number of advance days is required. A timely cancellation stops the next billing cycle while service continues through the current paid period. The recorded request time controls; a processing delay does not move a timely request into a later billing cycle.
Client Materials remain the client’s
The client retains ownership of its business data, customer information, accounts, website content, files, and other materials it provides or authorizes Hometown Demand to access. The client gives Hometown Demand only the limited right to access, process, reproduce, modify, or transmit those materials as reasonably needed to perform, secure, support, and document the agreed service. That permission ends with the service except where limited retention is required by law, a transaction, a dispute, security, or the ordinary backup cycle.
Hometown Demand systems remain ours
Hometown Demand retains its pre-existing and generalized software, internal prompts, methods, templates, workflows, scoring systems, know-how, and operating system. A paid service agreement will state whether any custom deliverable is assigned to the client or provided under a license. We do not use a client’s confidential materials to disclose or recreate that client’s strategy for another customer.
Data return, deletion, and access removal
On request or termination, access is removed and covered Client Materials under Hometown Demand’s control are returned or deleted according to the paid service agreement, subject to identity verification and limited legal, tax, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and backup obligations. Clients remain responsible for maintaining their own authoritative copies of business records and content.
Protected competitor watchlists
If a paid order form includes Competitive Watch, any account protection applies only to the named competitors, defined primary market, and substantially similar Competitive Watch service stated in that order form. While that protection is active, Hometown Demand will not knowingly solicit or accept that same engagement from a protected named competitor. Unless the order form states otherwise, protection ends 30 days after a competitor is removed from the list or the service terminates. This is focused account protection, not blanket industry, category, or geographic exclusivity.
Competitive Watch uses approved public sources and does not authorize access to private accounts, evasion of technical restrictions, deception, copying, or acquisition or use of another business’s confidential information or trade secrets. A detected change is evidence for assessment, not a promise that action is required or that a response will improve rankings, leads, or revenue. Public-facing responses remain subject to the written scope, quality controls, permissions, and approval rules.
